Kiwi biotech startup Mara Bio last week was awarded the agtech innovation award at Australia’s evokeAG conference, a cross-sector agrifood innovation event.
The company takes highly acidic whey, a waste stream from dairy processing, and turns it into a high-protein food ingredient via fermentation.
