College students are practically the perfect alt-meat consumers.
Consider this: Nearly two-thirds of current college students “believe their food choices need to signal their health, values and political beliefs,” according to a new report from Ketchum. The college dining hall is a campus version of a savannah’s watering hole. Everyone has to belly up to the buffet, making breakfast, lunch and dinner the perfect opportunity for virtue signaling.
