ADM’s restated results benefit Nutrition; compliance head to depart

The soy protein processor takes another step toward cleaning up its financial reporting issues.

Chicago-based ADM Inc. released its audited third quarter financial results for the period ended Sept. 30, reporting net earnings of $18 million for the period — including a sizable non-cash charge — down from $821 million for the third quarter in 2023. For the first nine months of the year, net earnings were $1.2 billion, down from $2.9 billion in 2023.
