Eastern Canadian province invests in large-scale fermentation facility and bio-economy training program.
Nova Scotia has invested CAD$1,055,000 (US$730,000) to increase fermentation capacity at a fermentation plant on Cape Breton Island.
The Verschuren Centre, which provides startups with access to industrial fermentation and bioprocessing infrastructure, said it will use the grant to expand its operating capacity and increase the number of clients it can work with by 25%.
