Frozen alt-meats starting to recover at retail

Combined refrigerated and frozen plant-based alt-meats generated $103.1 million in sales in August — a five-week period ending Sept. 1. Sales reflects Circana’s expanded MULO+ universe that includes additional retailers that were previously not represented in the data. These retailers include retailers in the e-commerce, grocery, club, direct-to-consumer delivery and other channels.
