US Rep. Warren Davidson recently introduced the REAL Meat Act of 2024, which would prohibit federal funding from being obligated or expended for the research, production and promotion of cell-cultivated meat. It would also prevent cultivated meat from being part of federal nutrition programs, like SNAP.
