Pros across the food supply chain know consumers are supplied with a steady stream of misinformation. Thing is, consumers know it, too.
“Food Infodemic Report,” a survey of more than 3,000 U.S. consumers conducted by Ajinomoto and research firm YouGov, showed that more than half (55%) believe they have “likely been a victim of food and nutrition misinformation.” The younger the respondent, the more skeptical they are.
