Despite the seemingly unerasable idea that plant-based alt-meat sales are tanking, recent research from the Good Food Institute showed that alt-meat options are still strong sellers at foodservice, with sales up 7.7% in 2022 over levels in 2019. The data also showed that quick service restaurants account for nearly 40% of sales for plant-based proteins at food service.
