Daily Harvest, a service that offers home delivery of vegan food, has identified the ingredient in its "French Lentil and Leek Crumbles," a ground beef analogue, responsible for sickening consumers and leading the company to recall the product last month.
In a note to customers on Tuesday, the company said the culprit was tara flour, which is used as a protein source and thickening agent.
