Cultivated meat firm reports tough first half

BSF and its cultivated meat subsidiary report losses, but remain optimistic for the future.

Newcastle, UK-based bio-manufacturing company BSF Enterprise, the parent-company of cultivated meat firm 3D Bio-Tissues (3DBT), reported significant losses in its half-year results to the end of March.

BSF saw net losses widen to more than £864,775 (US$1.1 million) for the six months ending on March 31, a 32% increase compared with the corresponding six-month period in 2023.
