Israeli microalgae protein company Brevel Ltd. officially opened its first full-scale commercial plant, the company announced in a news release on Tuesday.
At 27,000 square feet, the new facility contains bioreactors, where microalgae from the chlorella family will be grown via a combination of light and fermentation. The technology produces nutrient-rich microalgae.
