Alt-meat ‘headwinds’ take bite of Quorn parent’s 2023 financials

Quorn sales contract again, increasingly dragging on its parent company's financials.

Monde Nissin Corp., the Manila, Philippines-based parent company of mycelium-based alt-meat brand Quorn, saw 9.2% growth for the full year 2023, but its sails were filled only by the company’s Asia-Pacific Branded Food & Beverage (APAC BFB) unit: Its alt-meat (Quorn) unit saw sales contract another 4.3% in the year, dragging on the APAC BFB unit’s 12.6% top-line growth.
