Scotland's plant-based protein maker's offerings are a key input for alt-meats and other alt-proteins.
A group including Nesta Impact Investments and Scottish Enterprise has invested £500,000 (US$658,000) in Nandi Proteins Ltd. Edinburgh-based Nandi is on track, the company said, to commercialize production of its plant-based binders that can be used to formulate products composed of any kind of protein.
