Chicago-based Archer Daniels Midland reported better-than-expected profits for its first quarter of 2023, posting overall net income of $1.2 billion — compared with consensus expectations of $1.0 billion — on revenues of $24.1 billion, which was in line with analysts’ calculations.
For the same period a year ago, ADM posted net earnings of $1.05 billion on revenues of $23.6 billion.
It’s the 15th consecutive quarter in which ADM beat the analysts’ consensus expectations.
