Research studies rarely come to clear, easy-to-decipher conclusions. Mostly, doing science is a long and arduous process, each study building on the backs of all of the previous studies, slowly cultivating something we recognize as “truth” from facts that are revealed in dribs and drabs over time.
So the clear and convincing recent results from a University of Bonn study were surprising.
