Sacramento, Calif.-based Better Meat Co. has received a "coveted 'no questions' letter" from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), designating the company's meat analogue Rhiza mycoprotein ingredient as "generally recognized as safe" (GRAS) for human consumption.
