Superbrewed Food receives FDA nod for its biomass protein

Regulatory approval in the EU, UK and Canada are forthcoming, the company reports.

Biomass fermentation startup Superbrewed Food on Wednesday announced that it has received a “no-questions” letter from the US FDA regarding its determination of the Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) status of its bacteria biomass protein.
