Beyond Meat Inc. on Thursday announced strategic partnerships with both McDonald's Corp. and Yum Brands, parent of Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut.
Under the three-year global agreement with McDonald’s, Beyond Meat will be the preferred supplier for the patty in the McPlant plant-based burger being tested in select markets. The companies also will explore co-developing plant-based alternatives for chicken, pork and egg, Beyond Meat said.
