Alt-protein startup Arborea announced it has secured €5 million (US$5.2 million) in new funding. The round was led by Indico Capital Partners, with support from Banco Português de Fomento.
The investment will fund commercial-scale production of its “carbon-negative” nutrient-rich protein products, including NOvo functional protein, which can be used in alt-meat formulations.
